What is dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning uses a sterile blade to remove dead surface skin cells and fine vellus hair, often called peach fuzz. It can leave the skin feeling smoother and create a more even surface for make-up.

Why choose dermaplaning?
You may choose dermaplaning if your skin feels rough or looks dull, or you would like to remove fine facial hair. The effect is temporary and the treatment is planned around your skin’s condition.
- Exfoliate dead skin cells at the surface
- Remove fine facial hair
- Enjoy a smoother-feeling surface for skincare and make-up
What to expect at your appointment
- We assess your skin and ask about your skincare routine and any active skin conditions.
- A sterile blade is carefully passed across the skin. Appointments usually take around 30–45 minutes.
- Choose dermaplaning alone or the option including a luxury facial. We explain appropriate skincare and sun protection afterwards.
Results and recovery
Skin can feel smoother straight away. Temporary pinkness or sensitivity may follow treatment. Fine hair grows back and surface skin cells continue to renew, so discuss whether and when to repeat treatment. Gentle skincare and daily sun protection are important afterwards.
Suitability and risks
Active acne, cold sores, irritated skin or flare-ups of conditions such as eczema may mean postponing treatment. Possible complications include small cuts, irritation, infection, changes in skin colour and scarring. A skin assessment comes first.
Frequently asked questions
Will the hair grow back thicker or darker?
No. Removing hair above the skin does not change its follicle or growth rate. The cut end may feel blunter as it grows back.
Can I have it if I have acne?
Active spots or inflamed skin need assessment. We may recommend waiting until your skin has settled.
What are the options?
Dermaplaning is £40, or £50 including a luxury facial. Ask the team what the facial includes when booking.
