Consultation options and prices

This information describes possible treatment options following an individual consultation. It does not mean that a prescription treatment will be suitable or offered. Your practitioner will discuss alternatives, including choosing not to proceed, and explain the relevant patient information before any treatment.

Anti-wrinkle treatment

If clinically appropriate after consultation, botulinum toxin may be considered for selected lines caused by facial movement. It is a prescription-only medicine that temporarily reduces activity in targeted muscles. It does not add facial volume, and it is not suitable for everyone.

Treatment and timing

The clinic allows around 15–30 minutes for treatment, after assessment and preparation. An effect may begin within a few days. The clinic advises allowing approximately 2–3 weeks to assess the result; timing varies by product and individual, so follow the prescriber’s review plan.

Results and recovery

The effect is temporary. The clinic advises that results commonly last around 3–4 months, with individual variation. Redness, small bumps, tenderness or bruising may occur. Follow the specific aftercare advice about exercise, heat and pressure on treated areas.

Risks and suitability

Possible effects include headache, injection-site reactions, dry eyes, temporary eyelid or brow drooping, facial weakness and an uneven result. Rarely, toxin effects can spread and cause difficulty swallowing or breathing; these symptoms need urgent medical attention. Your prescriber will explain the product’s patient leaflet, contraindications and alternatives before treatment.

Weight-management treatment

Following a full clinical assessment, some patients may be offered prescription medication alongside nutrition, lifestyle and behavioural support. Medicines are not suitable for everyone and are not a guaranteed outcome of a consultation.

Assessment and ongoing support

The prescriber considers your medical history, current medicines, relevant measurements and individual risk factors. Where medication is appropriate, they explain how it works, how to use it and the monitoring required.

Reviews and side effects

Reviews assess progress, tolerability and wellbeing. Doses may be adjusted only where clinically appropriate. Side effects depend on the medicine and the individual; the prescriber will explain what to watch for and when to seek help.
